Hi, I’m Annie Brooks, a newcomer to the Great Northwest. Except for five fabulous years in West Virginia, I have spent most of my life in Indianapolis, IN. I now live in Kent with my husband, Bob and my wild child (dog) Opie. I am learning to appreciate the beauty and serenity of rain, which I understand is a requirement to survive and thrive November through June.
Like most Professional Organizers, I come to this industry with a background in other working environments. For many years I worked as an Administrative Assistant in both the Educational and Financial Services sectors. These positions taught me critical skills that keep people on target and things in place.
In preparation of beginning my business in 2005, I trained with Marla Dee of Clear and Simple Organizing (Salt Lake City, Utah). I also earned a certificate from JoAnne Lenart-Weary Interiors (Erie, PA) to learn the nuances of Interior Re-Design. It was there I learned the standard for furniture placement that can make your space functional and efficient.
I hold a B.F.A. degree in Interior Decorating from Sullins College and a B.A. Degree in Art History from Purdue University.
Although I have an eye for Interior Design, nothing compares to the beauty of a home that is clutter-free, organized and functional. I am dedicated to ensuring that you have every opportunity to achieve that goal.
